Why Crowd Sourcing

Social Media provides a tip, not a full story, as a news or Intel but it is not complete enough in some specific cases that just require someone to be physically in a specific location, and take requirements / tasks digitally and just do it.

There is a need for a new model that makes us able to crowd source the tasks or even projects to the citizens themselves. Whether they are you audience or real customers so long as we are incentivizing them well and animating the community using a cause drive, or just upgrading their digital social status.

Location Importance

WHY LOCATION IS IMPORTANT

Location based systems are becoming part of the work eco-system.

By locations of the so many mobiles in our hands, it is becoming much easier to build GIS databases and we present them mapped on real maps.

In our CSI, we distribute tasks on profiles that we know their locations all the time, and when they are doing the task.

But we still give them the right to refuse or accept.

Another important point is the validation, which we also require by other crowd members.

USE CASE

FMCG

We take Coca-Cola, for example, wanting to know the locations, performance, and usage (good or bad) in their kiosks.

CSI would send out a task to all recruiters to send pictures all of Coca-Cola’s kiosks around their respective regions. All this data will funnel into the CSI system as raw data. This will be taken by the CSI team to generate a report for Coca-Cola that will show them a heat map of all their kiosks around Egypt and usages (for example placing the wrong products in Coca-Cola fridges or storage of product in the sun).

BANKING

We take CIB, for example, wanting to know their ATM services and locations compared to other banks operating in Egypt.

CSI would send out a task to all recruiters to visit all ATM machines that they stumble upon and perform a certain task (Voice note or type the serial number of the ATM and send a picture along). Through the Google API on the CSI system, we can locate these people and the ATMs, as well as eliminate duplicated data or visits to the same ATM.Once sufficient data is gathered, we can generate a report for the banks regarding this valuable information. Also, another option would be to give access to a representative from the bank (Sales Director for example) to view this information live.
